Cancellation Policy
Cancellations less than 3 business days prior will not receive a refund. Please note members will not be able to swap their registration for events with a non-member.
If you are unable to attend an event after registering, your registration may be donated or transferred to another individual. In alignment with AFP-GPC’s IDEA principles, we will prioritize transferring registration to a fundraiser from an underrepresented or historically marginalized community and/or our Emerging Leaders cohort whenever possible. Please notify [email protected] at least 48 hours before the event; if less notice is given, we will do our best to accommodate the transfer.
AFP-GPC is seeking proposals for our upcoming 2026 Calendar of Educational Sessions. Please complete the online RFP form to submit your proposal. Submissions are evaluated quarterly.
Education programs, conferences, networking, volunteer involvement and professional advancement are among the many benefits you will receive from involvement with AFP – Greater Philadelphia Chapter
May Coffee Conversation: The Wealthy are Getting Wealthier: Your major donor plan and what is working and not working
We know that the wealthy are getting wealthier and one of the best uses of our time is cultivating and soliciting for major gifts.
What is working for you and not working: how to get the meeting, scripts you use, cultivation techniques, etc. Are you asking for enough from your top donors? Let's make the most of the upcoming summer months to engage your donors into your mission.
We are offering two in-person locations:
- Schultz & Williams (Philly): One Penn Center, 1617 John F Kennedy Blvd, 11th Floor, Philadelphia, PA 19103 [*note new location*]
- RSM (Suburbs): 518 Township Line Rd, Suite 300, Blue Bell, PA, 19422
*Registration is required for both locations; walk-ins cannot be accommodated.
*Registration will close on May 12th at 8:00 a.m.
When registering, please consider making a gift to AFP-GPC’s Scholarship Fund. Your support helps provide access to vital learning, networking, and mentorship opportunities for those who may not otherwise be able to participate—emerging professionals, small-shop fundraisers, students, and others with limited financial resources. All contributions directly support our commitment to IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access). Scholarships are awarded through programs like the IDEA Fellowship, monthly and Signature Event registrations, Emerging Leaders, and general professional development assistance. Together, we can build a more inclusive and empowered fundraising community.
