Cancellation Policy

Cancellations less than 3 business days prior will not receive a refund. Please note members will not be able to swap their registration for events with a non-member.

If you are unable to attend an event after registering, your registration may be donated or transferred to another individual. In alignment with AFP-GPC’s IDEA principles, we will prioritize transferring registration to a fundraiser from an underrepresented or historically marginalized community and/or our Emerging Leaders cohort whenever possible. Please notify [email protected] at least 48 hours before the event; if less notice is given, we will do our best to accommodate the transfer.


AFP-GPC is seeking proposals for our upcoming 2026 Calendar of Educational Sessions. Please complete the online RFP form to submit your proposal. Submissions are evaluated quarterly.

Join us for an informational workshop on planning and executing a successful campaign initiative. Meg George, President of George Philanthropy Group, will share best practices, campaign stories, lessons from her firm's clients, and tangible takeaways to help you successfully solicit campaign commitments. You'll leave with insights on establishing timelines, setting goals and budgets, and defining roles within your organization. The session will also include national philanthropy data and a Q&A segment.

Meg George, George Philanthropy Group

Meg George, co-founder and president of George Philanthropy Group, is a philanthropy advisor and campaign strategist. Working with both institutional nonprofits and philanthropists across the country, Meg, her husband + partner, Phil, and their team focus on maximizing charitable investments to generate outcomes. The firm leads organizations through the preparation for and execution of campaigns and helps to plan for long-term sustainability through the implementation of relationship-centric major gift programs. Aside from her work with nonprofits, philanthropists rely on Meg's expertise to build private foundations and help align philanthropic investments with outcome-driven causes. A keynote speaker and author on philanthropy, Meg launched a children’s book about the power and joy of giving back, What's Philanthropy to Philomena?, in November 2023. She and her family reside between South Florida and Upstate New York, and she services clients across the country.

Full participation in Campaign Ins & Outs is applicable for 2 points in Category 1.B – Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or recertification.
