Cancellation Policy

Cancellations less than 3 business days prior will not receive a refund. Please note members will not be able to swap their registration for events with a non-member.

If you are unable to attend an event after registering, your registration may be donated or transferred to another individual. In alignment with AFP-GPC’s IDEA principles, we will prioritize transferring registration to a fundraiser from an underrepresented or historically marginalized community and/or our Emerging Leaders cohort whenever possible. Please notify [email protected] at least 48 hours before the event; if less notice is given, we will do our best to accommodate the transfer.


AFP-GPC is seeking proposals for our upcoming 2026 Calendar of Educational Sessions. Please complete the online RFP form to submit your proposal. Submissions are evaluated quarterly.

In today's world of virtual teams, in-person teams, and hybrid teams, it's challenging for development professionals to feel and stay connected to their colleagues. This workshop will provide strategies for keeping team engagement high, while embracing the new ways we work. This session will focus on newer managers but will also provide tips for seasoned development professionals.

Speaker:

Renee Archawski, Schultz & Williams

Renee brings over 25 years of nonprofit leadership and fundraising experience to her role as a senior consultant. In this role, Renee provides strategic development support and leads ElevateNP, Schultz & Williams' Institute for Nonprofit Excellence. Renee has a broad range of fundraising expertise across all revenue streams. She has experience in training and coaching development staff and board members, creating and implementing strategic development plans, annual campaigns, and managing development teams to achieve ambitious goals. Renee's past leadership experience includes serving as Executive Director of Greater Philadelphia Cares and Achieve Now, and Interim Executive Director of Teach for America (TFA)'s Atlanta regional office. Renee held a variety of roles at TFA, including Development Coach where she provided organization-wide training and one-on-one coaching to regional development professionals in her portfolio and Managing Director of Development for TFA's Atlanta region. As Director of Institutional Giving with Girls Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania, Renee oversaw the organization's 100th Anniversary Campaign, Take the Lead Events, and corporate and foundation partnerships. She led a $7M capital campaign while at FringeArts, Philadelphia's premier contemporary performing arts organization. Renee spent 10 years working with Greater Philadelphia Cares, a volunteer management organization engaging thousands of volunteers each year across the Greater Philadelphia region. Most recently, Renee was Managing Director of Development at Caring for Friends. Renee serves on the board of Today is a Good Day, an organization dedicated to providing support to parents experiencing the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Full participation in Development Team Management: Tactics and Techniques for In-Person and Virtual Team Leadership is applicable for 1 point in Category 1.B -Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or recertification.
