You’re not intimidated by money—you’re a fundraising professional, but are you secretly (or not-so-secretly) intimidated by numbers or accounting speak? This session will equip participants with the tools and vocabulary they need to read and understand nonprofit financial statements and develop and understand budgets. Basic accounting concepts will be reviewed, and budget development methods will be discussed. Come with all the questions you’ve been too embarrassed to ask your CFO or treasurer.
Join us for our first in-person professional development event, since 2020, on Wednesday, May 25 (from 8:30am-10:30 am) where you can come with all of your questions that you’ve been too embarrassed to ask your CFO or treasurer. Stephanie Cory will equip participants with the tools and vocabulary they need to read and understand nonprofit financial statements and develop and understand budgets.
Please come with your questions or specific scenarios to have answered as we want this program to be interactive!
